During this period there is undemocratic horse trading on which Bills should fall or be progressed for Royal Assent IMV any extant Bill pertaining to National Security / budget provisions should be given priority, with due Peer review, within time available. Other extant Bills should follow normal timescales, no new Bills allowed. Any (revised) Bill not cleared for Royal Assent by 12 Apr should be debated as the first order of business for the new Parliament Hasty legislation is poor legislation
